Event five of the 2024 TOWSA Open Water Swim Series is the Club to Club, proudly sponsored by Performance Physio Group. The event offers two ocean swim distances: 1km and 2km.
The 2km Club to Club event will commence at the home of the Arcadian Surf Club - The Rockpool. Competitors will swim along the Strand towards the Townsville Picnic Bay Surf Club, returning and finishing at The Rockpool.
The 1km event will commence at the Townsville Picnic Bay Surf Club and finish at the Arcadian Surf Club near the Rockpool.

ON THE DAY
Registration opens at 6:15am at the Rockpool end of the Strand.
The event briefing will be held at 6:45am on the beach near the Rockpool for all swimmers.
Following the briefing, the 1km swimmers will walk to the Townsville Picnic Bay SLSC to commence their event.
The event commences at 7:00am

BAG DROP
Bag drop will NOT be provided. 1km swimmers will walk to Strand Park Beach in their swimsuit carrying only their goggles and cap.

WETSUIT POLICY
Wetsuits are permitted to be worn for all swims, please nominate in the wetsuit category when registering for this swim.
